What the day looks like
One course. 18 holes. Everything handled before you arrive.
You arrive at the course. I handle everything before that: the right course for your game, the tee time, and a brief questionnaire so I understand how your game works and what you are hoping to take away from the day. Then we play. The coaching comes in at the right time, while you are playing real golf and making real decisions. Between shots, there is time to talk: course strategy, how to read conditions, and stories from golf around the world.
I am a PGA Advanced Professional, have coached hundreds of competition winners, 15,000+ coaching hours and a Trackman Master certification. The day draws on that, but does not become purely a technical session. A round of golf, played properly.

Solo, group, or Signature Day.
Solo and group are the core Play With A Pro day rates. Golf courses pair bookings when they are busy, so a one or two ball can end up sharing the tee time with strangers. If you would rather it was just your party, I can reserve the spare slots and the tee time is yours. The course sets that charge and I pass it through at cost. Green fees and lunch are separate. A private tee time is included as standard with Signature Day.

Do you offer regular golf lessons, like a half-hour session?
No - I don't run short, stand-alone lessons on the range. Everything I do is built around Play With A Pro: a full day playing 18 holes together, with coaching built into real golf rather than isolated drills. It's a bigger investment than a normal half-hour lesson, but the change tends to stick, because you're applying it under real pressure, on a real course, not on a mat.
Do you offer lessons for complete beginners?
Yes. All my sessions take place on the golf course, not the driving range. With some great par 3s and short courses here in Mallorca, beginners can start playing real golf straight away and see the skills they need to develop. Range-only sessions are not something I offer, but I am happy to point you toward someone who does.
Do I need to bring my own clubs?
No. Hire clubs are available at most courses on the island. Just mention it when you book and I will help sort it.
Where exactly do lessons take place in Mallorca?
At courses across the island, chosen to suit you and your game. When you get in touch, we will pick the right fit for your level and what you are working on.
What languages do you teach in?
English and Mandarin. My Spanish is a work in progress, but Mallorca is a great place to practice both.
What's the difference between your Solo and Group packages?
Solo is a private session for one golfer. Group packages are for 2 to 3 golfers, small enough that I can still play alongside everyone and give real attention throughout the round.
Will we be paired with other golfers?
Possibly, and in peak season it definitely happens. I book the quietest tee times I can, but right up until we tee off anyone can book onto the slot, online or directly with the course. That decision sits with the club, not me. If you want it privatised, I can reserve the spare slots and the tee time is fully yours. The course sets the charge and it varies by course and time of day, and I pass it through at cost and confirm it before you book. Three golfers already fill a tee time, so there is nothing extra to pay.
What is it like if we do get paired?
Normally completely fine and great company. The honest downside can be the pace of play, some waits on a few tees and the round can be longer. For us though, we are still in the same buggy, or walking together if we are not taking one, so the conversation and the coaching is the same. The debrief, video and the written notes afterwards are yours regardless of who else is out there.
Do you work with juniors?
Yes. I work with juniors at all levels, including complete beginners. We adapt the difficulty of the course so they are learning from a real golf environment without being overwhelmed. Same approach, scaled to where they are.

How far in advance do I need to book?
3 to 4 weeks is typical, but there is flexibility. Get in touch and we will find something that works.
What happens if it rains?
Mallorca gets over 300 days of sunshine a year, so it rarely comes up. If a session does get rained out, we will rearrange at no extra cost.
